A Night To Remember III was the third charity boxing gala staged by Pro Project Promotions, the organisation founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper Graham Stack. Held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on 22 October 2026, the night brought together former professional footballers, high profile sporting guests, live entertainment and a black tie audience, all in support of four charities. By the time the doors opened the event had sold out, and it reached a far larger audience again through a live broadcast on talkSPORT Boxing’s YouTube channel.
For Rubi, this was never just a case of producing a set of event graphics. Our brief was to turn one night of boxing into a sustained, multi month campaign: developing the creative direction, the fighter storytelling, the photography, the video, the social output, bespoke ring entrance music and the promotional materials, then carrying that same identity into the venue itself and the live broadcast. The project covered the complete event journey, from the first fighter reveal through training camp stories, press and club activations, table sales messaging and sponsorship creative, to fight week, live broadcast graphics, arena screens and post event content.
The challenge was that this was the third event in the series, which meant it had to build on two established galas while still feeling bigger, sharper and distinctly London. The creative needed to work for several audiences simultaneously: boxing and football supporters following fighters online, premium table buyers, commercial partners, charity supporters, people watching on YouTube and guests inside the ballroom itself. Fourteen former footballers each had individual stories to tell and ring entrance music to prepare, while seven matchups needed their own campaigns, all under one consistent identity that had to hold together across phone screens, printed collateral, the boxing ring, venue displays, recorded video packages and the broadcaster’s motion graphics.
Fourteen Fighter Stories and Seven Matchup Campaigns
Every one of the fourteen announced footballers needed to feel like a genuine protagonist, not a name on a poster. We produced reveal graphics, portraits, matchup artwork, career facts and countdowns for each fighter and each of the seven planned bouts, with every story built around why they had stepped into the ring and the training behind it. Treating the card as seven individual narratives rather than one generic line up gave fans a reason to follow a specific fighter, and gave the wider campaign fourteen separate moments of attention rather than one.
Photography, Interviews and Training Camp Film
Original interviews, photography and gym footage turned training sessions and fighter conversations into both quick social edits and longer story pieces. The focus throughout was the people and the motivations behind the event rather than the production itself: why a former player was prepared to get back in the ring for charity, what the camp had been like, and what the night would mean to them. That footage became some of the most shared content in the build up, because it gave the campaign a human face well before fight week arrived.
A Steady Drumbeat of Social Media Content
We planned, designed and delivered a continuous flow of content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and TikTok, moving from fighter announcements and training reels through to urgency building content, live coverage on the night and follow up afterwards. Rather than a handful of static posts, the social output was treated as a campaign timeline in its own right, with each stage of the build up getting its own tone, from excitement at the reveal stage to the practical, deadline driven messaging closer to the event.
Guest Talent, Club Activations and Press
Alongside the fighters, we created guest and main event artwork for the football Q&A with David Bentley and Steven Sidwell, hosted by Jim White, together with promotional material for MC Aky Karim, auctioneer Martin Bayfield, referee Ian John Lewis and live act Majestic. For Lee Cook’s appearance at QPR’s Loftus Road we produced stadium screen video content, and developed further creative around Harlee Dean’s return to Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s, connecting the campaign directly to clubs and their supporters rather than keeping it contained to the gala’s own channels.
Turning Attention Into Table Sales
Awareness on its own does not sell tables, so paid advertising formed a core part of the campaign. Advertising creative drew on the fighters, the venue and the charity mission to turn attention into bookings, evolving over the campaign into more direct action posts covering table packages, deadlines and, eventually, the sell out announcement itself. The promotional mix also included club activations, partner announcements and organic social content, so the event was presented consistently whether someone discovered it through a fighter interview, a stadium screen, an advert or an event countdown. The event sold out, though the available evidence does not isolate paid advertising as the sole cause; a clean attribution of spend, reach and bookings specifically to paid channels should only be claimed once that reporting exists.
Branding the Ring, the Room and the Broadcast
The visual system built for the campaign, a cinematic palette of deep reds and warm gold paired with dramatic fighter photography and confident sports typography, had to extend beyond screens and into the physical venue. We translated that identity into the ring canvas artwork and partner placements for Glencar Construction, plus signage, round cards, scorecards and raffle materials. The aim was that nothing in the room looked like an afterthought bolted onto a digital campaign; the ring, the signage and the print all had to look like part of the same production as the social content and the broadcast graphics.
Fifty Six Graphics and a Video Library for the Broadcast
The live broadcast on talkSPORT Boxing’s YouTube channel needed its own dedicated package of assets. For the seven advertised bouts we prepared eight motion graphics per matchup, 56 broadcast assets in total, including tale of the tape graphics, name animations and round specific lower thirds. Alongside the graphics we edited a dedicated video library for the livestream: cinematic fighter story films, seven fight preview videos, highlights and donation content, together with promotional support for The Journey documentary. Six bouts ultimately went ahead following a late medical withdrawal, but production had been fully prepared for the entire advertised card, which meant nothing had to be rushed or improvised once the schedule changed.
Fourteen Ring Entrance Mixes and the Night Itself
One detail that rarely appears in a written recap but matters enormously on the night is sound. We produced individual, playback ready ring entrance music mixes for all fourteen boxers, giving each fighter their own distinctive walk out. In the ballroom itself we prepared a fighter introduction loop, bout cards, entrance screens and donation content for the in room displays, keeping screen files and the running order carefully organised for both the venue team and the broadcast team. On the night we covered the gala live with photography and video, then continued afterwards with winner announcements, highlights and recap material, leaving Pro Project Promotions with a reusable content library for future events rather than a one off set of assets that expired at the final bell.
What the Campaign Delivered
A Night To Remember III sold out at JW Marriott Grosvenor House and reached audiences well beyond the ballroom through the live broadcast on talkSPORT Boxing’s YouTube channel. Across the campaign, fourteen announced fighters each had their own campaign identity and ring entrance music mix, seven bouts were promoted and previewed on video, and 56 broadcast motion graphics were supplied for the livestream alongside a full supporting video library. Most importantly, the campaign helped communicate the real purpose of the night: bringing former professional footballers together around a new challenge while raising awareness and funds for Willow, Playskill, Helping Hands Barnet and Sport in Mind. An event specific fundraising total has not yet been published, so no unverified financial figure is claimed here.
A Night To Remember III needed the creative depth of a sports campaign, the polish of a luxury gala and the practical organisation of a live television production, all running at once. If you are planning an event, a gala or a campaign with a hard deadline and multiple audiences to serve, our content creation and paid advertising teams can help you build the same kind of joined up system. You can see the full breakdown of the project, including the photography, in our A Night To Remember III case study.
