Overview

A Night To Remember III was the third charity boxing gala created by Pro Project Promotions, the organisation founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper Graham Stack. Held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on 22 October 2026, the event brought together former professional footballers, high profile sporting guests, live entertainment and a black tie audience in support of four charities.

For Rubi, this was much more than producing a series of event graphics. We helped turn one night of boxing into a sustained campaign, developing the creative direction, fighter storytelling, photography, video, social media, bespoke ring entrance music and promotional materials before bringing that same identity into the venue and the live YouTube broadcast.

The project covered the complete event journey, from the first fighter reveal to training camp stories, press and club activations, table sales messaging, sponsorship creative, fight week, live broadcast graphics, arena screens and post event content.

The Challenge

The third event had to build on two established charity galas while feeling bigger, sharper and distinctively London. The creative needed to work for several audiences at once: boxing and football supporters following the fighters online, premium table buyers, commercial partners, charity supporters, people watching on YouTube and guests inside the ballroom.

There was also a genuine production challenge. Fourteen former footballers had individual stories to tell and ring entrance music to prepare, while seven matchups needed their own campaigns. The same identity had to hold together across phone screens, printed collateral, the boxing ring, venue displays, recorded video packages and motion graphics used by the broadcaster.

With frequent announcements, interviews, last minute changes and a fixed live event deadline, the team needed a consistent creative system and a fast, organised approval and delivery process. Every asset had to look premium, communicate clearly and be ready for the channel or production team that would use it.

What We Did

Rubi worked across the full creative and marketing operation for A Night To Remember III, building an adaptable campaign system that created anticipation over several months and carried through to the event itself.

Campaign Creative Direction and Event Identity

We developed a cinematic visual language combining deep reds, warm gold, dramatic fighter photography and confident sports typography, applied consistently across posters, films, social templates, broadcast artwork and venue graphics.

Fourteen Fighter Stories and Seven Matchup Campaigns

We produced reveal graphics, portraits, matchup artwork, career facts and countdowns for the fourteen announced footballers and seven planned bouts, each story covering why they stepped into the ring and the training behind it.

Photography, Interviews and Training Camp Video

Original interviews, photography and gym footage turned training sessions and fighter conversations into social edits and longer story pieces, focused on the people and motivations behind the event.

Social Media Planning and Campaign Delivery

We planned, designed and delivered a steady flow of content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and TikTok, moving from fighter announcements and training reels through to urgency building, live coverage and follow up.

Guest Talent, Entertainment and Press

We created guest and main event artwork for the football Q&A with David Bentley and Steven Sidwell, hosted by Jim White, alongside promotional material for MC Aky Karim, auctioneer Martin Bayfield, referee Ian John Lewis and live act Majestic.

Football Club Activations and Wider Promotion

For Lee Cook’s appearance at QPR’s Loftus Road we produced stadium screen video content, and developed further creative around Harlee Dean’s return to Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s, connecting the campaign to clubs and supporters.

Paid Advertising and Booking Campaign Creative

Advertising creative drew on the fighters, the venue and the charity mission to turn attention into bookings, evolving into direct action posts covering table packages, deadlines and the eventual sell out.

Sponsor Branding, Ring Design and Print

We translated the visual system into the venue, from ring canvas artwork and partner placements for Glencar Construction to signage, round cards, scorecards and raffle materials.

Fifty Six Motion Graphics for the Live Broadcast

For the seven advertised bouts we prepared eight motion graphics per matchup, 56 broadcast assets in total, including tale of the tape graphics, name animations and round specific lower thirds for talkSPORT Boxing’s YouTube channel.

Video Production for the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube Broadcast

We edited a dedicated video library for the livestream, including cinematic fighter story films, seven fight preview videos, highlights and donation content, alongside promotional support for The Journey documentary.

Fourteen Individual Ring Entrance Music Mixes

We produced individual, playback ready ring entrance music mixes for all fourteen boxers, giving each fighter a distinctive entrance on the night.

Ballroom Screens, Fighter Entrances and Show Content

For the in room displays we prepared a fighter introduction loop, bout cards, entrance screens and donation content, keeping screen files and running order organised for the venue and broadcast teams.

Fight Night Coverage and Post Event Content

We covered the gala live with photography and video, then continued after the night with winner announcements, highlights and recap material, giving Pro Project Promotions a reusable content library for future events.

Campaign Promotion and Paid Creative

Paid promotion formed part of the wider campaign, supported by a library of campaign graphics, video edits and booking messages. We built creative around the fighters, their personal stories, the premium London venue, the charity mission and the closing window to secure a place.

The promotional mix also included club activations, partner announcements and organic social content. This meant the event was presented consistently whether someone discovered it through a fighter interview, a stadium screen, an advert or an event countdown.

The event sold out, although the available evidence does not isolate paid advertising as the cause. Advertising spend, reach, enquiries and sales attributed specifically to this third event should be added only when the final report is available.

Key Outcome

A Night To Remember III sold out at JW Marriott Grosvenor House and reached audiences beyond the ballroom through a live broadcast on talkSPORT Boxing’s YouTube channel. Rubi’s work gave the project a cohesive visual and editorial presence across social media, promotional films, print, the ring itself, in room displays and the livestream.

The creative workload was unusually broad. Fourteen announced fighters had individual campaign identities and ring entrance music mixes. Seven bouts were promoted, seven fight previews were prepared, and 56 broadcast motion graphics were supplied alongside video content for talkSPORT Boxing’s YouTube livestream. Six bouts ultimately took place following a medical withdrawal, but production had been prepared for the full advertised card.

Most importantly, the campaign helped communicate the purpose of the event: bringing former professional footballers together around a new challenge while raising awareness and funds for Willow, Playskill, Helping Hands Barnet and Sport in Mind. An event specific fundraising total has not yet been published, so no unverified financial result is claimed here.

Summary

A Night To Remember III required the creative depth of a sports campaign, the polish of a luxury gala and the practical organisation of a live television production.

Rubi delivered an extensive programme of fighter storytelling, photography, videography, graphic design, social media, paid campaign creative, videos and motion graphics for the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube broadcast, fourteen bespoke ring entrance music mixes, ring branding and venue assets. The result was a recognisable campaign that carried a sold out charity boxing event from its earliest announcements to the final bell and beyond.
