The Top Oak

Overview
The Top Oak needed a stronger bank of original photography to show the quality of its food and venue online. Its social media channels had limited professional content and regularly relied on graphic templates, which made it difficult to communicate the atmosphere, character and dining experience of the pub and restaurant.
Rubi planned and delivered a professional content day covering signature menu items, drinks, interior details, dining spaces and the exterior of the venue. The aim was to create a varied, premium image library that could support social media, website content and future promotional activity.
The Challenge
For pubs and restaurants, customers often make a decision based on the food, atmosphere and setting they see online before they ever visit. The Top Oak needed photography that made the menu feel appealing, the interiors feel welcoming and the overall venue feel worth travelling to.

What We Did
We planned the content day around the parts of The Top Oak that customers are most likely to notice when deciding where to eat or drink. This included the presentation of the menu, the details within the dining areas and the appearance of the venue from outside.
We photographed a balanced mix of wide venue images, detailed interior shots and close menu photography. The final selection was created with different placements in mind, giving the business useful options for social posts, stories, website sections and promotional materials.
